16-Jul-2007: PixGPS 1.0 was released today. This software makes it simple to Geotag your photos using a GPS Receiver. The PixGPS will match the track log from the GPS and match it with the EXIF data in your photos. The latitude/longitude information will be stored as EXIF-GPS data inside each image file. 28-Nov-2006: PixFiler 5.0.6 was released today! This version add support for a lot of new digital cameras. Among them Canon EOS 400D/Digital Rebel XTi, Nikon D80, and Olympus E-400. It will also automatically set the date when using RAW image files (it already did this for JPEG files).
13-Nov-2006: PixFiler 5.0.5 was released today. Improves creation of thumbnails for photos stored on CD/DVD. There are also some bug fixes.
02-Nov-2006: PixFiler 5.0.4 was released today. This is a maintenance release that improves the stability of the software.
05-Sep-2006: PixFiler 5.0.3 was released today. This version has among other improvements better thumbnail handling.
01-Aug-2006: PixFiler 5.0.1a was released today. This version fixes a couple of bugs.
29-Jun-2006: After many months of work, PixFiler was finally released today. PixFiler is an upgrade of photo cataloger BR's PhotoArchiver. Among the new features are:
- improved thumbnail support
- improved searching
- will automatically find a photo that have been moved to another folder/disk
- Bulk Update can now update many fields at once
- Bulk update can use meta data (EXIF or IPTC)
- set default values for data fields
